Men’s Tennis Preview: Richmond & Bucknell

» The Delaware men's tennis team returns home for a pair of dual matches this weekend. The Blue & Gold will first play host to Richmond on Friday afternoon in a match that is set to start at 12 p.m. at the Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington. The Blue Hens will then be right back in action on Sunday, taking on Bucknell in a 12 p.m. match at Elkton Indoor Tennis in Elkton, Md.

» The Blue & Gold has had a challenging schedule to start the spring season and currently owns a 2-4 record having dropped its past three contests. Last weekend, UD dropped a pair of 6-1 decisions to Navy and Penn State.

» Richmond enters Friday's match with a 3-3 record this spring. The Spiders were swept 7-0 at William & Mary the last time they were on the court, ending a three-match winning streak.

» Bucknell is 2-6 on the season and will play Saint Francis (Pa.) on Saturday before its match with the Blue Hens. The Bison have won two of their past three matches with wins over Siena and Marist. In matches against CAA opponents, Bucknell has been swept by both James Madison and Drexel.
