» The Delaware women's tennis team hits the road for its lone match of the weekend as the squad travels to Richmond, Virginia for a contest between two ranked teams. The No. 63-ranked Blue Hens will take on No. 52 VCU on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. The match will be played at the Thalhimer Tennis Center.

» The Blue & Gold enter Saturday's contest on a five-match winning streak, earning their first appearances in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Division I Women's Team Rankings since the 2013 season. UD is currently 6-1 on the season and, in its current streak has allowed its opponents to score just four points while sweeping both Navy and LIU by 7-0 scores.

» On Wednesday, junior Isabella Montana was named the CAA Women's Tennis Player of the Week after combining to go 4-0 in singles and doubles play in Delaware's victories last weekend over Rutgers and LIU. Playing at No. 5 singles, the junior clinched the match against Rutgers with a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 victory before she rolled to a 6-0, 6-4 win on Sunday to push her winning streak to five. Montana and partner Samantha Svendsen also went 2-0 at No. 2 doubles, improving to 5-1 as a duo this season, and clinched the doubles point in both matches.

» VCU is currently 9-1 on the season and has won its past nine matches to move up to a No. 52 national ranking. The Rams have beaten CAA opponents Elon (7-0) and James Madison (4-1) in their streak and are coming off a 6-1 victory over East Carolina on Thursday.
