Khokhlova Finishes Seventh, Blue Hens Eighth at Rivertowne Invitational

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Blue Hen freshman Alisa Khokhlova tied for seventh place while the Delaware women's golf team placed eighth this week at the Rivertowne Invitational.

Khokhlova carded a four over par 74-72-74=220 on the par 72, 6,146-yard Rivertowne Country Club course to post her highest finish of the season.

Lilia Henkel tied for 18th place with a 13 over par 79-76-74=229, while Lexi Dart tied for 27th place with a 15 over par 72-82-77=231. Christina Carroll fired a 16 over par 80-75-77=232 to tie for 33rd place, while Oihana Etxezarreta recorded an 18 over par 79-78-77=234 to tie for 39th place. Anna Kittleson tied for 57th place with a 25 over par 83-81-77=241.

Delaware finished eighth out of 16 squads with a team score of 310-310-305=925. Oral Roberts claimed the team title with an 878 total, while Elon finished in second place 20 shots back.

The Blue Hens return to action on Mar. 19-20 when they compete in the Red Rocks Invitational in Sedona, Ariz.
