Men’s Tennis Preview: Hofstra, Yale & Georgetown

» The Delaware men's tennis team will play three matches in three days this weekend, playing home contests against Hofstra and Georgetown sandwiched around a road match at Yale. Friday's matchup against the Pride is set to begin at 12 p.m. at the Delcastle Tennis Center, while Sunday's home contest against the Hoyas will start at 3 p.m. at the DuPont Country Club. Saturday's match in New Haven, Conn. against the Bulldogs is set for 1 p.m.

» The Blue & Gold is 3-6 on the season and coming off a 6-1 setback at Monmouth in the squad's lone match last weekend. UD snapped a four-match losing skid with a 4-3 victory over Bucknell on February 27.

» Hofstra enters Friday's match with a 3-3 record after most recently falling to then-No. 34 Princeton 5-2 on Saturday. The Pride have wins over Marist, LIU and Sacred Heart so far this spring.

» Yale is 7-4 going into Saturday's match and is coming off of consecutive 7-0 victories over Bryant and Monmouth over the past week. Five of the Bulldogs' seven wins this season have been clean sweeps.

» Georgetown currently sits at 4-7 on the season and has dropped three of its past four matches. The Hoyas have played a pair of CAA opponents so far this spring, falling 5-2 at James Madison in February and dropping a 4-2 decision at Drexel on Wednesday.
