Men’s Tennis Preview: Temple

» The University of Delaware men's tennis team hits the road on Thursday morning, making the short trip to Temple for a 10:30 a.m. match. The action will take place at the Cherry Hill Racquet Club in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

» The Blue Hens enter Thursday with a 4-7 record after a 2-1 weekend. The Blue & Gold won home matches against Hofstra (6-1) and Georgetown (4-3) sandwiched around a road setback at Yale (4-1).

» On Wednesday, graduate student Pascal Wagemaker was named the CAA Men's Tennis Player of the Week after going 3-0 in singles action over the weekend. Playing at the No. 2 position, Wagemaker won in straight sets on Friday before battling out a tough, three-set victory on Saturday for UD's lone point at Yale. He moved up to No. 1 on Sunday and again won in straight sets. He also went 1-0 in doubles, clinching the double points with a victory against Georgetown.

» Temple comes into Thursday's match with a 5-4 record and is coming off a 6-1 loss on Sunday to fellow CAA opponent William & Mary. The Owls had won five of their last six matches prior to the setback to the Tribe.
