Delaware Finishes Ninth at Red Rocks Invitational

SEDONA, Ariz. – The University of Delaware women's golf team finished in ninth place this weekend at the Red Rocks Invitational.
The Blue Hens recorded team rounds of 206, 305 and 303 to place ninth out of 19 squads with a 940 total. Grand Canyon won the team title with an 865 score, while tournament host Northern Arizona finished six shots back.
Oihana Etxezarreta tied for 26th place in the individual standings with a seven over par 72-76-75=223 on the par 72, 6,170-yard Oakcreek Country Club course. Lexi Dart carded an eight over par 74-75-75=224 to tie for 28th place, while Christina Carroll fired a 13 over par 74=79=76=229 to tie for 42nd place.
Alisa Khokhlova tied for 50th place with a 14 over par 78-75-77=230, while Lilia Henkel tied for 91st place with a 25 over par 76-88-77=241.
Northern Arizona's Eliska Kocourkova was the tournament medalist by finishing at five under par.
Delaware returns to action on Mar. 28-29 when the Blue Hens compete at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va.
