» Delaware wraps up its 14-game homestand and opens its Colonial Athletic Association schedule this weekend by hosting James Madison in a three-game set.
» The Blue Hens have won six of their last seven games, including three straight. The last time Delaware won six times in a seven-game stretch was from Mar. 30-Apr. 7, 2019.
» UD is coming off a dramatic 9-8 victory over Georgetown on Tuesday as JJ Freeman belted a two-run walkoff homer in the bottom of the ninth.
» Jake Dunion ranks fifth in the CAA with a .368 batting average, while Aidan Kane is seventh by hitting .356. Joseph Carpenter and Freeman are tied for the conference lead with 10 doubles, while Bryce Greenly has hit a league-leading four triples.
» The Dukes are led by outfielder Chase DeLauter, a projected top 10 pick in this spring's MLB Draft. DeLauter leads the CAA with a .440 batting average, .561 on base percentage and .760 slugging percentage. Kyle Novak has driven home 25 runs for JMU, also tops in the conference.
