» Delaware plays its second CAA home series as the Blue Hens host the UNCW Seahawks in a key weekend set.
» The Blue Hens are looking to continue their dominating run at home, as UD has won its last six home games by a combined score of 71-11.
» Delaware continues to lead the country with 21 triples, and the Blue Hens also rank 19th in the nation with a .305 batting average and 32nd with a .490 slugging percentage. UD leads the CAA in all three categories.
» Bryce Greenly leads the league with five triples, ranks second with a .373 batting average and 36 runs, and is third with 50 hits. Joseph Carpenter leads the CAA and ranks 13th in the country with 16 doubles, while he is also tied for the conference lead with 51 hits. Jake Dunion is third in the CAA with 35 runs and fourth with both a .362 batting average and 46 hits.
» UNCW is led by Brooks Baldwin, who is batting .360 with team-highs of 45 hits, 30 runs scored, 11 doubles and 14 stolen bases. Freshman starting pitcher Cyle Phelan leads the Seahawks with a 1.73 ERA and is holding opponents to a league-low .157 batting average.
» UNCW leads the all-time series with Delaware, 39-25, with a majority of the meetings coming since the Blue Hens joined the CAA in 2002. The teams have not met since the 2019 season when UD won two of three games in Wilmington.
