Men’s Tennis Preview: James Madison & NJIT

» The University of Delaware men's tennis program opens a four-match homestand to close out the regular season as it hosts a pair of opponents this weekend at the Delaware Tennis Courts. The Blue Hens will play James Madison in a CAA matchup on Saturday for a 12 p.m. match before taking on NJIT at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

» The Blue & Gold is currently 10-8 on the season and riding a five-match winning streak. After a 3-0 Spring Break trip, UD traveled to Saint Joseph's on Wednesday and defeated the Hawks 4-3, winning four singles matches for the comeback victory.

» Senior Luis Molina was named the CAA Player of the Week on Tuesday for his performance in Delaware's two matches last week. Molina went 2-0 in singles and added a win in doubles as UD capped an undefeated road swing with victories over CAA foe Charleston (6-1) and The Citadel (7-0).

» James Madison is 13-4 on the season and 2-2 against CAA opponents, having defeated Drexel and Elon, while falling to William & Mary and Charleston. The Dukes have won three-straight matches and nine of their 13 victories have come at home.

» NJIT is 8-7 on the season and has won its past two matches, including a 7-0 sweep of Sacred Heart on Thursday afternoon. The Highlanders are just 1-5 away from their home courts.
