» Delaware's game-winning goal with eight seconds remaining lifted the Blue Hens to victory over No. 2 Georgetown, who entered the game with a 15-1 overall record. The victory sends the Blue Hens to the quarters of the NCAA Tournament for just the second time in school history and the first since 2007. Delaware will play No. 7 Cornell on Sunday, March 22 in the quarterfinals. The game will be aired live on ESPNU at 12 p.m. ET.

» How did the Blue Hens get to the quarters? Delaware registered a 12-point win over Robert Morris in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, as they recorded a 20-8 win - the most goals scored by the Blue Hens this season. JP Ward set a new school record for goals in an NCAA Tournament game with six and Matt Kilkeary's nine saves was the fifth-most in a postseason game by a UD goalkeeper.

» Last Sunday night's win over the Hoyas was the fourth NCAA Tournament victory for the Blue Hens. Kilkeary recorded 14 saves in the win - the second most in a single game in school history.

» Senior Owen Grant was named a USA Lacrosse Magazine and Inside Lacrosse Second Team All-American. He finished the regular season with 25 caused turnovers, 36 ground balls, five goals, and two assists en route to earning CAA Defensive Player of the Year accolades. Attackman Tye Kurtz was named the CAA All-Tournament Team MVP. Goalkeeper Matt Kilkeary, and attackmen JP Ward and Mike Robinson all earned CAA All-Tournament Team honors.

» Delaware and Cornell will meet for the fourth time in school history and the first time since 1997 . The Big Red won that meeting 11-10 on March 26, 1997. Sunday marks the first time the two teams will play in the postseason.
