Grant, Robinson Earn USILA All-America Recognition

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware men's lacrosse players Owen Grant and Mike Robinson have both been recognized on the 2022 USILA D1 All American Teams.
Grant, a native of Newmarket, Ontario, was named to the USILA All-American Second Team. Known for his dominant defensive presence, the senior registered a Delaware single season record of 35 caused turnovers. He tallied 51 ground balls, as he helped the Blue Hens to a share of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) regular season title and a berth to the NCAA Tournament. He showed off his offensive skills quite well in 2022, as he scored seven goals, including one from 50 yards out. Grant also recorded a trio of assists for a shooting percentage of .467 and a shots on goal percentage of .733.
Robinson, an all-around threat on offense and defense, received honorable mention nods after leading Delaware with 53 goals scored. A member of the 100 Goals and 100 Point Clubs, Robinson finished the 2022 campaign with 68 points, after he assisted on 15 goals scored. The Peterborough, Ontario native had a .564 shots on goal percentage, scored on eight man-up opportunities and three game-winning goals. He also collected 43 ground balls and caused six turnovers for the Blue Hens.
This is the third All-American honor for Grant this season. He was named to the USA Lacrosse All-American Second Team and Inside Lacrosse All-American Second Team. It is the first honorable mention All-America honor for Robinson this season.
