Lisa Kater Added to Field Hockey Roster

NEWARK, Del. -Â Head Coach Rolf van de Kerkhof announced the addition of graduate transfer, Lisa Kater, to the 2022 field hockey roster Friday.Â
"We are excited to add Lisa's experience of high level hockey to our program," said van de Kerkhof. "She brings leadership and maturity to this group, and we are thrilled she has chosen to continue her studies as a Blue Hen. She is eager to compete for a championship and thanks to her skill set on the midfield and the forward lines should help this team in both its scoring production and overall defensive presence."
Kater, a midfielder and forward, played overseas at DHC Hudito Ladies 1 in the 'Eerste klasse'. She is a two-time champion of the National Top-Klasse and also played hockey at MHC Fletiomare during her 7th and 18th years.
The South Holland, The Netherlands native graduated from Technical University Delft with a BSc in systems engineering, policy analysis and management. She started a MSc in Complex Systems Engineering and Management with a specialization in transportation and logistics. Kater is the daughter of Fred and Petra Kater and she has a younger brother, Aron.Â
