Kilkeary Named to USILA Team of the Week

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware men's lacrosse senior goalkeeper Matt Kilkeary has been named to the USILA D1 Team of the Week, announced Tuesday by the organization.
Kilkeary, a senior from Lake Sherwood, Calif., registered a career-high 19 saves Delaware's 14-12 road win at Fairfield. He helped the Blue Hens secure a share of the CAA regular-season title and a trip to the conference tournament. Kilkeary played all 60 minutes in goal, facing 54 shots and posting a .613 save percentage. The goalkeeper made 10 saves in the first half and nine in the second half, including seven saves in the fourth, to shut out Fairfield in the fourth quarter.
The accolade is the second of the season for Kilkeary.
