Women’s Soccer Preview: Princeton

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's soccer team will hit the road for a match at Princeton on Sunday at 7pm.

What You Need to Know:

The Blue Hens are 1-4-3 after a loss against Sacred Heart last Sunday.
Princeton leads the all-time series versus Delaware, 5-2. The last time the two teams met was on Sept. 19, 2021. The Tigers won 4-0 in Newark.
Delaware last played at Princeton in 2017. The Blue Hens are 1-2 on the road versus the Tigers.
After leading UD in goals scored in 2021, Sara D'Appolonia has four goals and one assist on her resume in 2022. Izzy Lane leads the team with four assists, while Mia Reed has 33 saves in goal.

The Opponent

Princeton is 4-2 on the season after a 4-1 win over George Mason on Sept. 11. The Tigers are 3-1 at home.
Tyler McCamey has started four games in goal with 13 stops and a 3-2 record. Heather MacNab leads Princeton in scoring with four goals and one assist.
