Allen Signs Pro Contract in Georgia

NEWARK, Del. – Former Delaware men's basketball standout Ryan Allen has signed a pro contract with Cactus Tbilisi in Georgia.
Allen, who ranks third all-time in UD history with 1,821 career points, becomes the third Blue Hen to sign a pro contract since the conclusion of last season, joining Kevin Anderson and Dylan Painter.
Outside of his scoring ranks, the 2017-18 CAA Rookie of the Year is the school's career leader with 304 three-pointers made, 869 threes attempted, 132 games played, and 4,466 minutes played.
During the Hens 2022 CAA Championship season, the Bowie, Md. native played in 33 games with 19 starts and averaged 13.7 points per game for third best on the team. He picked up a CAA Player of the Week Aware and was a Preseason All-CAA Second Team honoree.
