Men’s Basketball Hosts William & Mary, Travels to Drexel

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware men's basketball (10-9, 2-4 CAA) has two games this week, hosting William & Mary (8-11, 3-3) on Thursday and making the short trip to Drexel (10-8, 4-2) on Saturday.

SCOUTING DELAWARE:

Delaware has lost two in a row after falling at Hofstra and Northeastern last week.
Jameer Nelson Jr. continues to lead the way in scoring for Delaware, coming into this matchup averaging 19.7 ppg and 5.1 rpg. Nelson has not appeared in the last three games.
Ebby Asamoah has been heating up lately, scoring double digits in three consecutive games. He is shooting 50 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from beyond the arc over that stretch, while averaging 14.7 ppg.
Jyáre Davis has scored double figures in 32 of his last 33 games dating back to last season, scoring 10 and 17 last week, respectively. He is averaging 16.3 ppg and 5.3 rpg.

Drexel hosts Hampton before its homecoming game against Delaware on Saturday.
The Dragons burned Northeastern 76-55 on Saturday, two days before Delaware lost to the Huskies.
Amari Williams paces the Dragons in scoring (13.9) and rebounding (8.2) as well as leading in several significant statistics.
Coletrane Washington leads Drexel in three-pointers made (36) and attempts (105) this season.
Garfield Turner scored 12 points off the bench against the Huskies, a season high and just the second time he has scored more than 10 this year.

MATCHUP HISTORIES:

Delaware is 28-18 against William & Mary and 14-7 at home.
