NEWARK, Del. – Delaware men's lacrosse defender Owen Grant and attacker Mike Robinson were recognized as USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-Americans, the organization announced on Tuesday. Grant was named to the Preseason Second Team and Robinson was as an Honorable Mention.
Grant, the reigning two-time CAA Defensive Player of the Year, played a pivotal role on defense for the Blue Hens in 2022. His 35-caused turnovers led the squad and was second in the conference. The redshirt-senior from Ontario, Canada earned Second Team All-American honors from USA Lacrosse Magazine and was named First Team All-CAA selection last season. In September, Grant was selected third overall by the Vancouver Warriors in the National Lacrosse League draft.
