Men’s Golf Competes at USF Invitational

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – The University of Delaware men's golf turned in a three-round score of 8-over par 872 to finish in a tie for 11th place at the 14-team field USF Invitational. The Blue Hens had rounds of 292-283-297 at the par-72 Southern Hill Plantation Club.

The Blue Hens will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule in a couple of weeks when they make their third trip to North Carolina for the Bryan National Collegiate, hosted by UNCG. The three-day tournament will be held October 29-31.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue Hens turned in a 5-under par 283 during Monday's second round to move up from 13th place to ninth in the standings.
- Halleron recorded six birdies during the first round to shoot a 1-under par 71.
- Zubov carded Delaware's low score in each of the final two rounds, recording a career-best 68 during Monday's second round.
- Homer was 1-under par through the first two rounds after shooting even-par 72 and 1-under par 71.
