WASHINGTON, D.C. – The University of Delaware women's basketball team aims to sustain its winning momentum as they journey to the nation's capital to take on American (1-4) at Bender Arena on Wednesday evening. The game is set to tip off at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Additionally, she holds the 44th spot nationally for the number of free throw attempts and commands the lead within the conference in this statistical category.
- The Eagles enter Wednesday's matchup sporting a 1-4 record on the young season and the last time the team hit the hardwood was last Wednesday, Nov. 22, hosting George Mason.
American fell 72-62 to the Patriots, extending their losing streak to four. - Emily Johns and Ivy Bales led the charge for American, scoring 14 and 13 points respectively. Bales had four rebounds and five assists.
