Men's Lacrosse Announces 2024 Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – The back-to-back CAA champion University of Delaware men's lacrosse team and head coach Ben DeLuca are ready to run it back in 2024 as the program announced its schedule for the upcoming season, Tuesday evening.
The Blue Hens come off their second consecutive CAA championship in 2023 as Delaware knocked off Stony Brook 13-10 to earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The Hens continued their run with a record-setting 25-10 Opening Round win over Marist before falling to the No. 1-seeded Duke Blue Devils in the First Round.
Delaware looks to add onto their recent success in 2024 as the Blue & Gold has 12 regular season contests slated in the new year. The Hens are on the road for seven contests and will host five at Delaware Stadium beginning at noon Feb. 10 against Lafayette.
Following its home opener, Delaware hits the road on back-to-back weekends as the Blue Hens visit St. John's on Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. in Queens. A week later on Feb. 24, Delaware heads up I-95 to Philadelphia for a 3:30 p.m. matchup with the Penn Quakers.
On March 2, the Hens open the month at home with a noon matchup against Michigan before heading to Long Branch, N.J. for their first CAA bout of the year as they take on Monmouth on March 9 at 11 a.m. A week later, the Blue & Gold head to Chantilly, Va. for a neutral site contest with Syracuse at 2 p.m. Delaware rounds out the month in the heat of CAA competition as the Hens host Hofstra on March 23 followed by a road trip to Hampton on March 30. Both games are slated for noon.
On April 6, Delaware continues CAA play as the Hens head north to Fairfield University for a 1 p.m. game against the Stags. The Blue Hens return to Delaware Stadium for a CAA Championship rematch as Stony Brook comes to Newark on April 13 at noon. Following the rematch with the Seawolves, Delaware hits the road one last time to face Drexel on April 20 at 1 p.m.
The Blue Hens round out the regular season at home with Senior Night against Towson on Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m.
Season tickets are on sale now starting at $50 or $10 per ticket when you buy three or more games. Single game, general admission tickets with access to the Stadium Club are available at $25. The club option offers greater food options and is the only vendor in the stadium with alcohol sales. General admission tickets without Stadium Club access are $15 while youth/senior tickets are $10.
