Women’s Tennis Announces Spring 2024 Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's tennis spring 2024 schedule has been released, Director of Tennis/Head Women's Tennis Coach Pablo Montana announced Friday.
The Blue Hens begin the spring season at Wilmington Country Club as Villanova visits on January 27. Six of the next seven matches will be on the road with Penn (Feb. 1), Rutgers (Feb. 2), Liberty (Feb. 10), Virginia Tech (Feb. 11), Penn State (Feb. 17), and Bucknell (Feb. 18) on the schedule. Navy sneaks in on Feb. 4 for the lone home match in that stretch.
A neutral site battle against Quinnipiac (Feb. 24) at West Point comes before taking on hosting Army (Feb. 25).
The next seven matches will all be played in the state of Delaware, with six being at home and one neutral site contest in Bethany Beach. LIU (March 1), Monmouth (March 3), Delaware State (March 3), Georgetown (March 10), Hofstra (March 13), Richmond (March 17), and Stony Brook (March 22) will be at one of UD's home facilities, with the Cornell match on March 9 being played at Sea Colony Tennis Center downstate.
The Hens will head to Miami for matches at Barry (March 24) and FIU (March 25), before returning home for the next four.
NJIT (April 6), William & Mary (April 7), Drexel (April 10), and VCU (April 13) will all pay a visit to the first state before the Blue & Gold head to Towson on April 14.
The CAA Championship will take place April 24-28 in Elon, N.C.
