Men's Lacrosse Ranked in Top 15 in Three National Polls

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware men's lacrosse enters the week ranked No. 13 in the Inside Lacrosse poll, No. 14 in the USA Lacrosse Magazine poll, and No. 14 in the USILA poll, the organizations announced on Monday.

The Blue Hens enter the week 1-0 after defeating Lafayette 14-5 on the road. Senior attackman Tye Kurtz led the way in the victory with five goals and one assist.
Defensively, Matt Kilkeary had 12 saves, and allowed five goals, leading to a .706 save percentage. Midfield/faceoff Roland Hockenbery tied his career high with 12 faceoff wins on 17 attempts, leading to a career-high .706 faceoff percentage (min. 10 attempts).

UD heads to Emmitsburg, Md. for a road game against Mount St. Mary's on Wednesday, Feb. 13 (3 p.m.). Following its game against Mountaineers, Delaware host its first home game of the season against St. John's on Saturday, Feb. 18 (noon). It will be the start of five straight home games for Delaware.
