Abidullina, Askarova Move Up to Third in ITA National Doubles Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – Delaware's top doubles pair of Adel-Byanu Abidullina and Eliza Askarova have moved up to third in the iTA National Doubles Rankings, the organization announced Tuesday.

The Hens finished the fall ranked sixth and held that position after the first set of rankings two weeks ago. Adibullina and Askarova are the only players in program history to be ranked nationally in either singles or doubles.

The pair sits at 16-1 overall on the season with wins over the fifth, ninth, and 16^th ranked teams. The lone loss came to then number two UNC.

Delaware returns to play on Friday at noon against Rutgers at Delcastle Tennis Center.
