SCOUTING DELAWARE:
- Delaware split at Towson and against UNCW last week.
- Jameer Nelson Jr. had a game to remember against UNCW, dropping 39 points on 13-of-21 shooting, a career-high and the most any Delaware player has scored since 2014. The performance is tied for 8th most points by a Blue Hen in program history.
- Jyáre Davis has had a fantastic sophomore year, averaging 15.9 ppg and 5.3 rpg.
- Over his last eight games, Christian Ray has averaged 10.6 ppg and 8.6 rpg.
- Cavan Reilly continues to stake his claim as one of the best rookie three-point shooters in the country, shooting 46.4 percent from beyond. He averaged 10.5 ppg during last week's contests and is second nationally among freshmen sharpshooters in three-point field goal percentage with at least 25 made.
- The Aggies enter the Delaware matchup on a three-game losing skid.
- Kam Woods has been the offensive leader for NC A&T, averaging 17.6 ppg and 4.0 rpg.
- While he has been held to just 14-percent shooting in his last two appearances, Marcus Watson still averages 14.0 ppg and 4.8 rpg.
- Demetric Horton is averaging 14.3 ppg over his last three games.
- The Aggies are 7-4 at the Corbett Sports Center.
- Elon heads to William & Mary before hosting the Blue Hens.
- Elon beat Monmouth 75-68 in its last contest.
- Sean Halloran has led the team in scoring all season, averaging 13.0 ppg and 3.2 rpg. He has scored in double digits in six consecutive games and is a 91.1 percent free-throw shooter.
- Max Mackinnon averages 11.7 ppg and 5.3 rpg.
- The Phoenix are just 5-8 at the Schar Center.
- Delaware has never faced the Aggies. The Blue Hens have played a first-time opponent just once this season (Air Force, Nov. 11)
- The Blue Hens are 11-8 all-time against Elon.
