Selling's 200 IM Victory Highlight's Delaware Women's Swimming & Diving On Day Two Of CAA Championships

HAMPTON, Va. - Mira Selling repeated as the CAA 200 IM Champion as Delaware women's swimming & diving finished in third place in the rankings after day two of the conference championships. Selling finished with a time of 1:58.08, setting the Delaware program record and the all-time CAA Championship Meet record. Her time was also good for an NCAA B-Cut mark. Delaware has now won three consecutive 200 IM titles, as Audrey Duvall also won the event in 2021.Â
The 400 medley relay team of Erin Shema, Mania Tasakou, Aislinn Mitchell, and Selling also set a program record, finishing with a time of 3:38.54 and in second place. Also in the 200 IM, Shema took home a third-place medal, finishing with a time of 1:59.99, while Mitchell placed sixth (2:03.07). In the 500 free, Bella Granetzke finished in 11th with a time of 4:59.67, and Natalie Dobrzykowski finished with a time of 5:02.98 and in 14th.Â
In the 3-meter dive, Julia Servas (267.20), Rowan O'Sullivan (259.60), and Ella Drazek (251.10) finished in fifth, sixth, and seventh. Delaware currently has 201 points, trailing UNCW (282.5) and Northeastern (214). They lead William & Mary (198.5), Towson (147), and Drexel (133). Tomorrow's preliminaries begin at 10:00 a.m., while diving preliminaries begin at 12:30 p.m. Finals are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.Â
