Women's Swimming and Diving Leads Navy and Kenyon After First Day of Navy Quad Meet

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – University of Delaware women's swimming & diving holds the advantage over Navy by a score of 103.00-83.00 and Kenyon 104.00-82.00, while being behind Princeton 123.00-60.00 after the first day of the quad-meet, hosted by the Midshipmen.
Victoria Novinskiy picked up the Fightin' Blue Hen's only event victory on the day with a win in the 200-fly, swimming it in 1:55.74.
RESULTS
Delaware was the third team to touch the wall in the 200-free relay, as Angelica Ragazzoni, Naia Legarda, Elishka Hajek, and Judy Liu swam to a 1:33.65 time in the event.
Lauren Hartel placed fourth in the 200-free at 1:50.17, with Olivia Willemsen finishing in sixth at 1:51.04.
Ragazzoni and Aleksandra Dimitrova took third and fourth, respectively, in the 100-back at 55.43 and 55.77.
Alex Pastris took sixth in the 3-meter dive, tallying a 270.90, while Jordyn Gould set a personal best with a score of 234.60.
Bri Cottingham picked up a season-best in the 100-breast, swimming 1:02.33, taking third place.
To round out the swimming portion of the meet, Ragazzoni, Cottingham, Novinskiy, and Willemsen took second in the 400-medley relay, swimming a time of 3:39.80
