Men's Golf Tied for Ninth After First Round of Loyola Intercollegiate

GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Delaware men's golf closed the first round of the Loyola Intercollegiate tied for ninth place.
Delaware tied with Northern Colorado, firing a team score of 294 through one round of play. Marquette paced the field with a score of 287.
Sparky Ariyachatvakin finished tied for seventh among all scorers, firing a score of 71 (-1) on the par-72, 6,001-yard Palm Valley course, notching four birdies including three on the front nine.
Michal Bargenda tied for 26th among all scorers with a first-round score of 73, similarly recording four birdies.
Owen Manchester tied for fifth amongst individual players, also notching a 73.
The second round will begin tomorrow.
