Blue Hens Ranked in Top 20 in Major Polls

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware men's lacrosse enters the week ranked No. 17 in USA Lacrosse Magazine poll, and No. 19 in the USILA and Inside Lacrosse polls, the organizations announced on Monday.
The Blue Hens enter the week 3-1 after a 13-12 setback against Villanova.
Offensively, the Blue Hens are led by Tye Kurtz and JP Ward. Kurtz leads the Colonial Athletic Association in goals with 17. Ward leads the CAA in assists with 11. Both are tied for the conference lead in points with 22. Defensively, Owen Grant is tied for the conference lead in caused turnovers with eight. He needs three caused turnovers to become the first player in program history to reach 100 in a career
UD hosts Michigan on Saturday, March 4 at noon at Delaware Stadium. It is the third of five straight home games for the Blue Hens.
