Montana, Vasilenko Garner CAA Women’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Isabella Montana and Alina Vasilenko have been named CAA Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

Montana and Vasilenko secured the doubles point to help Delaware knock off Big Ten foe Rutgers, 5-2, for its sixth consecutive victory. Competing at the No. 2 doubles slot, the Blue Hens' duo got past the Scarlet Knights' Arina Valitova and Jackeline Lopez, 6-4, to improve to 7-0 on the season. Vasilenko added a 6-7 (5), 6-4, 7-5 victory at No. 2 singles as Delaware upped its record to 7-2.

Delaware returns to play on Friday when Fairleigh Dickinson comes to Elkton Indoor Tennis for a noon match.
