Taylor, Siegfried Earn CAA Weekly Honors

NEWARK, Del. - Andrew Taylor and Kevin Siegfried of the Delaware men's swimming & diving program both received CAA weekly honors after their performances at the Blue Hen Invite, as announced by the conference on Feb. 7, 2023.

Taylor was named CAA Swimmer of the Week after he finished with the second-fastest time in program history in the 1650 free, recording a time of 15:32.77. His mark is also the fastest by any swimmer in the CAA this season by 14 seconds. This is Taylor's first CAA Swimmer of the Week honor this season.

Siegfried was named CAA Diver of the Week after he took first place on the 1-meter board with a career-best score of 330.45. He also placed second in the 3-meter competition with a score of 292.95. This is Siegfried's sixth diver of the week honor, the most in the CAA this season.

Delaware will next compete at the CAA Championships from Feb. 22-Feb. 25 in Hampton, Va.
