Blue Hens Place 13 on NFHCA Academic Team

BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The Delaware field hockey team placed 13 student-athletes on the 2022 NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad, the organization announced on Thursday.

A total of 965 student-athletes from 77 Division I institutions have been named to the 2022 NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

The NFHCA National Academic Squad program, sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, honors undergraduate collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach.

Delaware's Morgan Rigual was one of 179 student-athletes who appeared on the list for the fourth time.

NFHCA All-American, Julia Duffhuis, and NFHCA All-Region honorees Berber Bakermans, Ashlynn Carr, and Kiki Oudshoorn also highlighted the academic squad.
