Men’s Golf Ties for Fifth at Bash at the Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Delaware men's golf gained a spot in the overall standings in the final round, finishing play in Myrtle Beach tied for fifth.
Delaware tied with Utah Valley after a team score of 862, scoring 288-286-288 in the three rounds.
Casper Nerpin had an impressive showing, finishing the tournament at a minus-2 after rounds of 72-69-70 and finishing tied for ninth among all individual scorers. Nerpin recorded ten birdies and was the only Delaware player to notch an eagle on the par-71, 6,705-yard Surf Golf and Beach Club course.
Jack Halleron finished tied for 28th overall at +1, remaining even after round one and round three.
Xiong Da tied for first among all players by recording 38 pars in his first tournament of the spring season.
Oral Roberts claimed the team title with a minus-9 overall performance and Utah Valley's Caden Weber's individual score of
The Blue Hens will return to the course for the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate beginning on Mar. 27.
