Delaware Softball's Weekend Schedule Adjusted

NEWARK, Del. – The weekend schedule for the University of Delaware softball team has been changed due to the forecast for inclement weather on Saturday. All games on Saturday have been canceled and the Blue Hens will now play a doubleheader against Villanova on Sunday. Game one is scheduled to start at 12 p.m., while game two will start approximately 25 minutes after the first game concludes.
Delaware split a doubleheader on Wednesday against Rider, dropping the first game 4-2 before bouncing back for a 2-0 win in the second game. Julz Garber totaled four hits on the afternoon and four other Blue Hens had two base knocks. Taylor Wroten fired UD's second shutout in the past three games while allowing just two hits and Kendall Shank pitched 5.0 innings of one-run relief in game one.
