Men's Lacrosse Receives Votes in Major Polls

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware men's lacrosse received votes in all three major polls, Inside Lacrosse, USA Lacrosse Magazine, and USILA, the organizations announced on Monday.
The Blue Hens enter the week with a 6-3 record overall and a 2-0 record in the Colonial Athletic Association. UD defeated Hofstra 15-7 on Saturday.
Delaware is led by Tye Kurtz, who is tied for first in the country in goals with 34, and second points with 49. He is seven goals away from breaking Curtis Dickson's school record for most goals in a career with 162, and 9 points away from breaking Anthony DiMarzio's record for most points in a career at 251.
Owen Grant leads the way on defense. He has 19 caused turnovers on the season. He owns the program record for caused turnovers in a career with 108. Offensively, Grant has scored four goals over the last three games.
