Grant, Kurtz, Named to Inside Lacrosse Magazine's Midseason All-American Team

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware men's lacrosse red-shirt senior defenseman Owen Grant and attackman Tye Kurtz were named to the Inside Lacrosse Magazine Midseason All-American team, the organization announced on Friday.
Both Grant and Kurtz have played pivotal roles for the Blue Hens in the 2023 season. Grant was named to the First Team, while Kurtz was named to the Third Team.
Through the first nine games of the season, Owen Grant has 19 caused turnovers, which ranks third in the Colonial Athletic Association, and sixth in the NCAA. He also ranks seventh in the NCAA in caused turnovers per game at 2.11. Grant holds the school record for most caused turnovers in a career with 108. Offensively, Grant has scored four goals over the last three games.
Kurtz is tied for the nations lead scorer at 34 goals, and second in points with 49 through the first nine games of the season. He also ranks second in the CAA in assists with 15. Kurtz ranks third all-time in program history in goals, with 156, and second points, with 243. He needs 7 goals to pass Curtis Dickson for the most goals in a career at 163, and 9 points to pass Anthony DiMarzio for the most points in a career at 252.
The Blue Hens will be back in action tomorrow against Hampton at noon at Delaware Stadium.
