Men’s Golf Finishes Fifth at Cutter Creek Intercollegiate

SNOW HILL, N.C. – Delaware men's golf used a strong third round to finish in fifth place at the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate.
Casper Nerpin's final round of 70 vaulted him to a tie for 14th among all scorers. Nerpin had two eagles and four birdies in the final round, and the two eagles were tied for the most among all players.
Sparky Ariyachatvakin wrapped up his tournament with a 71 (minus-1) on the par-72, 7,280-yard Cutter Creek course. Egor Zubov also notched a below-par round of 71.
Host East Carolina paced the field with a team score of 868 (plus-4), as the Pirates' Lucas Augustsson claimed the individual title.
The final tournament of the men's golf regular season will begin on Apr. 15 as the Hens take part in the Penn State-hosted Rutherford Intercollegiate.
