Delaware’s Series at Hofstra Moved Up to Avoid Weather

NEWARK, Del. – The weekend schedule for the softball team's three-game CAA series at Hofstra has been adjusted due to inclement weather in the forecast. The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Friday, April 28 before concluding the series on Saturday, April 29.

Game one on Friday will start at 12 p.m. with first pitch of game two scheduled to follow immediately afterward. Saturday's series finale will also begin at 12 p.m. Links to a live stream via FloSports as well as live stats, will be available at BlueHens.com.

The Blue Hens enter the weekend atop the CAA standings with a 14-4 mark in conference play and a 25-17 overall record. Hofstra sits at 20-23 overall and is currently tied for second in the CAA with a 12-6 record after winning five of its past six conference games.
