Field Hockey Remains Steady at No. 19 in the Latest NFHCA Coaches Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo – The University of Delaware field hockey team was ranked No. 19 in the latest Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll, the NFHCA announced Tuesday afternoon.
The Blue Hens faced two setbacks over the weekend as Delaware fell 2-1 in double overtime to then ranked No.15 Princeton followed by a 4-1 loss to last week's No. 11-ranked Nittany Lions, but remained in the top-20.
Delaware has been led by forward Kiki Oudshoorn as the senior Netherlands native leads the CAA with 10 goals scored and 21 points overall. The Blue Hens currently lead the conference in goals scored with 20 and are currently ranked eighth in the nation with 3.33 goals per game.
The Hens look forward to the start of CAA action on Friday, Sept. 15 as Delaware heads to Hempstead, N.Y. followed by a non-conference bout with No. 13-ranked Saint Joseph's on Sunday, Sept. 17.
