Oudshoorn Earns Her Second Player of the Week Honor of the Year

RICHMOND, Va. – For the second week in a row, University of Delaware field hockey senior Kiki Oudshoorn was named the CAA Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.
Oudshoorn has been a menace to opposing teams thus far as the Ede, Netherlands native has already racked up a conference-leading nine goals and 19 points. She led the offensive charge for the Blue Hens this week as she tallied a hat trick in back-to-back contests against Villanova and Columbia.
In the Hens home opener against Villanova on Sept. 1, Oudshoorn found the back of the Wildcats cage three times as Delaware cruised to an 8-0 win. On Sunday, Sept. 3 the senior scored back-to-back within 25 seconds of one another in the fourth quarter to down Columbia 4-2 in comeback fashion.
Oudshoorn shares this week's award with William & Mary's Pyper Friedman as the two were named CAA Co-Players of the Week.
Delaware returns to action on Friday, Sept. 8 as the Blue Hens hosts No. 10 Princeton at Rullo Stadium at 5 p.m.
