Women's Swimming & Diving Defeats Drexel in CAA Dual Meet

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's swimming & diving team started off the new year with a Coastal Athletic Association play with a dual meet victory over Drexel by a score of 180-120 on Saturday at the Carpenter Sports Complex.
With the win, the Blue Hens improved to 2-0 overall in dual meets.

The Blue Hens will be back in action when they travel to South Orange, N.J. to take on Seton Hall on Saturday, Jan. 20 at noon.

- Lauren Hartell in the 1000 freestyle at 10:29.29 and 500 freestyle at 5:07.10
- Mania Tasakou in the 100 breaststroke at 1:04.77 and 200 breaststroke at 2:22.49.
- Victoria Novinskiy in the 200 butterfly at 2:05.78.
- Alex Pastris in the 3-meter dive with a score of 294.00.
- Julia Servas in the 1-meter five with a score of 279.75.
- Sara Smith in the 200 IM at 2:09.46
- The women's 400 freestlye relay team of Erin Shema, Anthi Lyra, Olivia Willemsen and Nicole Chiappa at 3:29.95.
