Men's Soccer Finishes NJIT Match in a Draw
10/1/2024 9:02:00 PM | Men's Soccer
NEWARK, N.J. – The University of Delaware men's soccer team finished their first match of the week against NJIT in a draw of 2-2. The Hens overall record now rests at 5-3-2 heading into their fourth CAA match-up on Saturday.
ON THE RECORD - "A result on the road is always a positive, it's just a little frustrating to only take a draw from a winning position," head coach Tommy McMenemy said. "We started well again, but some fatigue crept in during the latter stages and we struggled to take care of the ball in those moments. I'm so proud of how hard these boys work every single game, they give everything to the cause and I love that."
HEN HIGHLIGHTS
Delaware will travel to Monmouth for a Saturday evening game at 7 p.m.
