NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware field hockey ended regular season CAA play with a double overtime loss to No. 19 Drexel, 2-1, Friday evening. The Blue Hens dip to 8-9 overall and 3-3 in CAA action, while the Dragons advance to 14-4, 6-0 CAA.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Rookie Taylor Vaccaro recorded her second score of the season.
Cecile van Eijck (8-9) made three saves on the night.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Drexel took the lead in the first period with a score during the 10^th minute of play.
Delaware responded in the second frame with a breakaway score from Vaccaro that went through the legs of the Dragons' keeper.
During the 78^th minute, Drexel utilized a penalty corner to score the golden goal.
