Women's Basketball Hosts Colgate for an Education Day Showdown Tuesday Morning

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's basketball team wraps up its brief two-game homestand on Tuesday morning, hosting Colgate. This matchup marks the first meeting between the Blue Hens and Raiders since 1983 and their debut clash inside Bob Carpenter Center. Additionally, it's the first encounter between head coaches Sarah Jenkins and Ganiyat Adeduntan since each took charge of their programs. The game is set to tip off at 11 a.m. and will be broadcast live on FloCollege.

- The last outing for the Blue Hens was last Tuesday evening, Nov. 12, against Temple, falling 67-56 in the home opener.
- Off the bench, Michelle Ojo led Delaware with a career-high-tying 15 points on efficient 7-for-11 shooting, along with four rebounds and a block.
- Chloe Wilson recorded her first double-double of the season, tallying 12 points and a season-high-tying 12 rebounds, plus three assists, a block, and a steal.
- Through three games played, Rebecca Demeke is leading the team averaging 10.7 points per game with Wilson right behind her averaging 9.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per contest.
- Still searching for their first win of the season, Delaware's current three-game skid marks the first time since the 2019-20 season (a four-game streak) that the team has opened the season with consecutive losses.
