Vadlamudi, Schieroni to Play ITA Conference Masters Championships

NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware women's tennis duo Navya Vadlamudi and Greta Schieroni have been selected as the CAA doubles representative for the 2024 ITA Conference Masters Championships. After a valiant run at the ITA Northeast Regionals, the pair will compete in a draw of 32 at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Ga. next weekend. Maryia Hrynashka has been selected as an alternate for the singles competition.
"This is a great honor and accomplishment for the program!" head coach Pablo Montana said. "I'm so happy for Greta and Navya to be chosen as the CAA representative for doublesand to participate in the ITA Conference Masters Championships. Â They have worked hard all fall, and this is a nice reward for their efforts. They are playing extremely well and working hard each day at practice, and I think they will have a strong showing next week."
Each NCAA Division I conference is allowed a singles and doubles pair representative for each gender at the championships. Besides winning the title of the cup, the top four singles players and top three doubles pairs earn qualification for the NCAA Championships.
