Honrubia, Hrynashka Named CAA Women’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Delaware women's tennis' Julieta Honrubia and Maryia Hrynashka have been named the CAA Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week for their performances against Liberty and Virginia Tech, the league announced Tuesday.
Honrubia and Hrynashka went 2-0 at No. 3 doubles last week as Delaware dropped a pair of close 4-3 road matches at Liberty and ACC foe Virginia Tech. The Blue Hens' duo rolled past LU's Maria Turchetto and Marina Davtyan, 6-1, to help UD pick up the doubles point vs. the Flames. They followed with a 7-6 (3) triumph over Virginia Tech's Charlotte Cartledge and Ozlem Uslu. Hrynashka also won both of her matches at No. 4 singles over the weekend.
The Hens return to action at Penn State on Saturday.
