Football Ready for 2024 Spring Practices; Spring Game Set for April 19

NEWARK, Del. – As the weather begins to warm up in the First State, that can only mean one thing – the start of University of Delaware football spring ball. The Blue Hens will begin their first on-field preparations for the 2024 season with 14 spring practices that lead up to the annual Blue-White Spring Game, presented by Delaware State Parks.
The football program will hold its first spring practice on Saturday, March 9. While practices will not be open to the general public, fans can follow along through the program's social media accounts for behind-the-scenes content as well as on Bluehens.com for additional features.
The 2024 Blue-White Spring Game will take place at Delaware Stadium on Friday, April 19 at 7 p.m. The gates will open at 5:30 p.m., and parking and admission is free to the public and all seating is general admission. Fans will have the opportunity to watch the Blue Hens in a live scrimmage atmosphere as the offense takes on the defense in the team's final spring tune-up before the 2024 season.
The Whitney Athletic Center Stadium Club will be open during the spring game exclusively to season ticket members who have renewed or purchased their 2024 season tickets, and will include a cash bar along with free appetizers on a first come first serve basis from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. There will be a special pregame opportunity as select football alumni will be available for an informal meet and greet inside the stadium club during this time as well. A list of alumni attendees will be communicated at a later date.
This year's Fandemonium will be held on Saturday, August 17 from 3 - 6 p.m. as the Hens get closer to the 2024 fall season. Blue Hen fans of all ages are invited to come out and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon as the Delaware Athletics Department will host Fandemonium on the grass lot in front of the Whitney Athletic Center with free games, rides, inflatable interactives for all ages, music, food, giveaways and more. The afternoon will conclude with the second annual Movie Night inside Delaware Stadium at 6:30 p.m. as fans will have the opportunity to watch a movie on the same field that the Blue Hens play football on every Saturday in the fall.
Season ticket memberships for the 2024 season are on sale now. Renewing members must be renewed by February 29 to guarantee the same seating and parking locations as 2023. All fans who renew or purchase tickets by this date will have the option to use the virtual venue to upgrade, add or select new seats and/or parking spaces for the upcoming season.
With an additional home game in 2024, the ticket price per game for every season ticket in the stadium decreased from last season. Due to the additional home game, the total season ticket price increased slightly from 2023. Season ticket members save up to $27 per game over individual game tickets. Furthermore, season ticket prices will not increase for renewing season ticket members for the inaugural season of FBS in 2025.
