Men’s Tennis Collects First-Ever Win Over Penn State

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – With a match-clinching point from Nikolaj Talimaa in no. 2 singles, the University of Delaware men's tennis team picked up its first-ever win over Penn State Saturday, 5-2. The Blue Hens move to 2-0 on the season, while the Nittany Lions even out at 2-2.

"Wow what can I say?" Head Men's Tennis Coach Marc Pibernat said. "First time in the program history that we beat Penn State, and this is a big day for our program. I take my hat off to this group of student-athletes that travelled to Penn State and did what they did today. A special shootout to our three captains, Nikolaj Talimaa, Alexandre Gluck, and Javier Ruiz for leading this team the way they are doing it."
