ON THE RECORD
"We're proud of the character of this team," head coach Kelly Lawrence said. "They fought together, communicated proactively and managed the game together. Every member of our team including our game changers on the bench impacted the game and the result. We will enjoy the six point road swing all the way home and then it's back to focusing on going 1-0 again on Thursday."
"So proud of the entire team to get six points and two shutouts on the road this week," goalkeeper Kyla Burns said. "It's not an easy thing to do and took everyone from our goal scorers to our back line to our bench. We've put in so much work over the past few months and it's awesome to see it pay off. Looking forward to getting back to our home field to continue conference play this week."
