Stoetzer Named CAA Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Delaware field hockey freshman Janne Stoetzer has been named the CAA Rookie of the Week, the league announced Monday. This is the first weekly nod for her.
The Nijmegen, Netherlands native recorded three points in Friday's 4-0 win over Hofstra, including a goal and an assist in 30 minutes of game action.
Stoetzer currently ranks third on the team with seven points. She's scored a trio of goals on eight shots and six shots on frame.
The Blue Hens return to action on Friday for a pivotal CAA match at Monmouth.
