NEWARK, Del. – Week 7 in the HeNLL consisted of five games with Delaware alumni. Four of the five games resulted in a win for the Hens, and the one loss featured a career day for Tye Kurtz, who led the league with seven goals this week.
On Friday, Reed Kurtz (2020-24) and the Ottawa Black Bears took down the Georgia Swarm, 14-10. Kurtz tallied five loose balls, and two caused turnovers.
Owen Grant (2019-23) and the Vancouver Warriors beat the San Diego Seals, 11-9 on Friday. Grant posted three points (two goals, one assist), three loose balls, and one blocked shot. Cam Acchione (2021-24) and Jake Govett (2019-22) remain off the Seals' active roster. Acchione is on the Physically Unable to Perform List, while Govett is on the Practice Player List. Jordan Hall (2003-07) is a member of the San Diego Seals' coaching staff, serving as the Offensive Coordinator and Director of Player Personnel.
Curtis Dickson (2007-10) and the Calgary Roughnecks defeated Kevin Lynch (2020-23) and the Philadelphia Wings, 13-11 on Saturday. Dickson tallied a team-high six points (four goals, two assists) on nine shots on goal. Lynch is not on the Wings' active roster, as he is a member of the Practice Player List. Brett Manney (2004-08) is a member of the Philadelphia Wings' coaching staff, serving as the Head of Youth Development.
Mike Robinson (2020-24) and the Halifax Thunderbirds defeated the Rochester Knighthawks, 19-18 on Saturday. Robinson posted four points (one goal, three assists), two loose balls, and one caused turnover.
Matt Acchione (2021-24) and his Saskatchewan Rush beat the Las Vegas Desert Dogs, 15-9 on Saturday. Acchione recorded three loose balls, and one caused turnover.
Tye Kurtz (2019-23) and the Albany FireWolves fell to the Colorado Mammoth, 15-13 on Saturday. Kurtz tallied a game-high nine points (seven goals, two assists) with 19 shots on goal and nine loose balls.
